As of yesterday I have made recruitment posts on 3 of the larger PS2 community hang outs: reddit, SoE's forums, and planetside-universe. I will be watching those posts to maintain a presence there in order to try to attract fresh pilots.
I am removing many of the requirements for joining the air division. As we refocus our mission, we have a need to bring in gunners and lib crews as well as mosquito pilots. There is no reason why we can't take fresh faces or good friends and turn them into competent pilots or gunners.
Those of you with friends who have been interested in flying, learning to fly, or gunning: Please bring them in to the forums and TS, get them introduced, and get them into the air. I would appreciate the established members looking out for these players and trying the get them settled in when you can. Encourage them to come to training. It will help our recruitment if new players see an active organized group that they can fit themselves into rather than some ill-defined, unorganized collection of quiet, insular pilots. Be friendly and we will have more success in our recruitment. Be helpful and we will have stronger recruits.
