Under the new organizational system, specialty badges have maintenance requirements that have been set per each division commander and must be maintained.
Skywatch badge upkeep requirements are listed with membership requirements. Reviews will be quarterly (every 3 months). To save me a lot of effort, I'm going to review the entire roster 4 times a year rather than track individual join dates.
An individual's 'baseline' statistics will be listed by most recent completed review and will be compared to their statistics at the next quarterly review. All members are expected to maintain their set requirements or have the applicable specialty badge removed.
Badges may be reinstated once proof is submitted that a player has met their requirements for maintaining the badge for the quarter.
All that to say, if you go inactive or interests change, your badges may disappear if you're not flying with the Squadron or maintaining minimum activity levels. If you want to get the badge back, simply meet your maintenance requirement for the quarter and it'll be your's again.
