TXR members,
Please do not respond to potential members in the Application board, unless you are vouching for a potential applicant. It is Swatz and my job to process these requests with consistency. Failing us (which we are both usually on top within a few hours) that responsibility falls to other folks in Leadership.
I understand that you members are simply trying to be helpful to candidates, but it increases the potential for a recruit to be given inconsistent information. Furthermore, remember that the application is the first threshold test for future members. TXR is one of the most widely accessible higher tier outfits (we have the loosest requirements of any outfit to be featured in Community clash, and other competitive divisions). However, we have a firm line in applicants filling out a proper application. Recruits should not have to be instructed in how to fill out a proper application. If you spend 30 seconds skimming our forums, you should be able to fill out our application correctly. My first indication towards approving a member, is whether or not they can be bothered to spend a few minutes learning how this outfit operates.
Thank you for your efforts,
