I
The TXR Road Runners
Want to scream "MEEP MEEP" as your battle cry, blow up things made by ACME (otherwise known as NS), and watch those NC and Vanu coyotes fail, over and over again? JOIN THE ROAD RUNNERS! How do I join this looney bunch you ask? See below!
1. POST IN THIS THREAD
A. Read all the below sections first, including both membership and leadership expectations.
B. Post in this thread if you are interested.
C. Include in your post a general, 3 to 4-hour window of availability (ie: Mon-Thurs, 5-8PM Pacific). This is so that we can try to organize training / practice with as many folks available as possible. Once we get our leadership team up-to-snuff, we'll expand the schedule to try and get everyone.
D. Include in your post if you are interested in being part of the ROAD RUNNERS leadership team. Again, read the requirements below.
2. Membership Expectations
A. You will attempt to follow proper road courtesy at all times (keep right except to pass, avoid friendly roadkill and apologize in PROX if it occurs, etc.)
B. You will make every effort to avoid damage to friendly vehicles, assets, and infantry. If in a safe zone and if time permits, you will repair any damage to friendly vehicles caused by inadvertent contact
C. You will be responsible for the safety of both your vehicle and your passengers; just because player X doesn't mind the occasional foray off a cliff for lols doesn't mean player Y does. Use PROX to ensure you're both on the same page when it comes to acceptable risks.
D. You will set the standard for professionalism when operating in joint-faction or outfit-specific major operations. You will operate TS and in-game COMMs in a respectful and professional manner when running in large or scheduled OPS. All other times, keep TS for joking, banter, etc., and in-game for squad chatter only. Know when to unleash the funny, and when to put it away and CLEAR COMMs.
E. You will attend training or practice ops as often as you can. We understand folks have lives, other commitments, etc. This is just a game. However, attending training or practice ops can at least guarantee you are up-to-speed with our groups' tactics and operations. You may not be selected for larger ops (Friday night, etc.) if you do not attend training semi-regularly.
F. Involvement with the groups' forum is required. Please chime in, offer your feedback and opinions. We want to all to be on the same page and encourage feedback to make us a better fighting force both when we're on our own, and when we are supporting TXR's other divisions.
3. Leadership Expectations
A. First and foremost, you are responsible for the solidarity and uptime of your team. Have your fallback point (preferably an ammo tower) marked. Deploy your squad beacon as directed by your platoon leaders. Instruct your Road Runner forces to dismount and provide infantry, anti-armor, anti-air, MAXcrash support as required.
B. Be fair and balanced at all times. Be professional and set the standard; your troops will follow your example. Know when to unleash the funny, and when to put it away and CLEAR COMMs.
C. Be up-to-speed on current Road Runner tactics and operational procedures.
D. Leave no soldier behind.
4. Division Logistics
The following info is coming in the next bit:
A. Training Schedule: Coming soon...
FYI: FOR THE IMMEDIATE FUTURE, we will train only and not expect to participate in any FNO on a regular basis. Use this time to get certs, certs, and more certs to max out those Doom Buggies.
i can play most nights between 5 and 8 to 10 oclock
i would like to become a leader in the road runners if possible
