Anyone else notice that in all the ship statistics, it lists ship cargo capacity in tons? Shouldn't this be a capacity measured in volume? 5 tons of balsa wood is going to take up a lot more space than 5 tons of iron ore. Just a thought.

Yeah, it's been a gripe on the forums. We'll see what happens. I would hope in the end, that it becomes a measure of weight and volume. Also, however, we also have to think that these ships will have a gross weight and maybe that's what the weight we're seeing is referring to.
Only time shall tell.

Update! One of the questions answered during this week's Wingman's Hangar related this question exactly. The answer? Cargo will have size as well. In short, size matters!
