Also, list names that you like for the guild. While your at it, think of 2, one for our Military and one for our business side of things.

All for Total Security Solutions. I like it. Business? Total X Trade Inc. (We'll take X from A to B and take no S from anyone!)

BROS,
Our business outfit is the Weyland-Yutani Corporation!
They were the evil corp in the Alien franchise movies,
My top ship in Eve was always the Nostromo.

BROS, Our business outfit is the Weyland-Yutani Corporation! Yes, because that worked out so well for all the Weyland-Yutani employees portrayed in the films. Empirically, the surest way to die in a Ridley Scott movie is to work for Weyland Yutani.

The reason I offer Mercury Tradecraft, Unlimited, is thus: Mercury was the Roman patron god of Commerce, Financial Gain, and Travelers. In addition, tradecraft plays off the concept of skilled trades, such as manufacturing, as well as the actual vessels we send our goods in. In addition there is the implication of speedy delivery by association with Mercury. As for Unlimited, well shit, why limit ourselves?

FYI on the poll, I'm not a fan of the limited choices. I would prefer not to team up with massive outfits like 666 but I wouldn't mind if we rolled with the MERCs since we do so anyways on a regular basis.

We still need more info regardless doing our own thing isn't limited to not working with others I originally asked if we wanted to join the big outfit. Which I'm against.

I would rather have our own group going and then work with the other groups rather than having us running under one big house.
I think having us run under one big house would cause a bunch of organization issues and drama and such. Plus I am pretty sure we might have respect issues and so on and so forth.
So to save on drama and organization issues I think we should have our own corps/outfits/clans/guilds/etc. but have a group like TTA or whatever.
Kind of like in Eve Online where you have corporations and alliances.

Agreed. I am fine working with small groups, with individual players, as well as with established friends (and in Wrex's case, Minions), but I hate the idea of working under a much larger group where our leadership is but a voice and has little say in the actual direction we work for.

I have to agree with Silver and Wrex. Our own group/guild/squadron/whatever the hell you want to call it, but aligned with other groups/guilds/squadrons/whatever as we have now with the TTA. We can, however do it under the umbrella of a larger organization. As I understand it, we will be able to have a very large organizational structure ingame. It could work. One thing does bother me though. Not all the organizations we would be aligned with will want to be on the side of UEE or all pirates/smugglers/etc. Changes, you would be more privy to this as you're in talks with them. I guess what I'm trying to really say is that I'm on the fence as to whether or not we should be our own group or just a branch of larger organization. Keep us up to date Changes.

It is still very early in discussions. I am not sure how the organization structure for clans will be, hopefully we can have formal alliances supported by the devs.

In games like this numbers mean safety and prosperity. Why not alliance with people we know?
