So the continuation of the final season is on. Here's what we know:
-No more cat and mouse. Hank knows and Walt knows that Hank knows. Epic badassery ensues as a garage door closes. I'm thinking Hank should have just taken the page in question, but during which episode of this show has he proven himself an even halfway decent detective?
-Pinkman is an idiot. My opinion here, but apparently his brain is lacking the ability to sit down and fucking relax. No one in the history of humanity has improved their happiness by literally throwing away a fortune. Anyone that says that made them happy is saving face. Take the 5 mil, get the fuck out of town, and far... far far away from all the things you hate so much. You toss that shit away and guess what pal, you'll need cash down the road and you haven't made a single good choice in life as to how to acquire it. TAKE YOUR CONSOLATION PRIZE AND GTFO. If handing a homeless guy a wad of hundreds doesn't make you feel better, what in the world makes you think doing the same thing all night is going to scratch that itch?
-This episode contains the lone moment where I had an ounce of respect for Skylar.
-The meth went from good to bad in Walt's absence. Who thinks, with the few episodes left, there's even ROOM for him to get involved again? I think that M60 in the trunk was Walt's way of severing business ties.
-Who is the ricin for? My theory is Pinkman. Once his cover is blown, I think he's cold enough to simply not need him anymore. Remember that he takes on traits of the people he kills, and that's definitely what Gus would do. Use it on Saul? Doubt it. As sleazy as he is he's never betrayed anyone.
Anyway, a ton to think about before next week.
