I have been reading Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Rises. I was not familiar with the Cannon of established literature at all. Now, I have read like a tome and a half to even understand the back story...AND this graphic novel isn't even part of the accepted timeline, so it's like I am spinning my wheels. And don't even get me started on the Dark Knight Strikes Again. I just started reading graphic novels because one of my friends suggested it, and it's like a lot of work with all the story lines. Apparently, Superman and Batman and all the DC characters exist in the same plane with the same timeline? That's too much. I am going to go back to books. Batman, you scary.
