For those who were wondering where flight training went, I must apologize. With my participation on the PAL and Community Clash teams, I was not able to maintain the Thursday night schedule as I had hoped. Thursday nights are starting to be pretty packed with competitive stuff, so I'm going to move Air Training to Tuesday nights and maybe start up a weekend air squadron where we just fly around looking for trouble.
Air Training Tuesdays will take on a little bit of a different flavor as well. I want to start working on specific tactics like focusing fire, timing ground attack runs, fighting liberators, utilizing tank busters and your belly for quick skyguard kills, and good team dog-fighting work. We'll do some good roaming, but I want to start focusing on some individual skills.
This Tuesday, bring your rocket pods and hornets, we'll be learning to pop sundies and other armor quickly from on high. Looking forward to seeing anyone who can make it.
I'll be looking to start around 7:00pst/9:00cst. We'll fly for a few hours and practice what we can.
