The reason I haven't been on to much lately is I am rebuilding my car. Thought I might as well post some pictures. It will be capable of 525 whp and 550 torque when it is completed, should get me to work on time.

I wonder if there's any way to get a TXR decal? I'd buy a small one.

The only reason I don't run old school again is the gas mileage, before this I owned a fully built 67 chevelle but it got 12 miles per gallon, this car get 32 mpg until I hit boost.

Yeah, gas mileage doesn't help, but that's why that old muscle car is a weekend driver or something you break out to take to the track or the show. I used to have an 87 Toyota Supra Turbo. She got about 24 mpg till I got that CT26 spooled up. At that point, it probably doubled its gas consumption. lol Loved that car though. What turbo did you go with there?

Puzzler: when I take my car down the highway, the check engine light comes on. When I turn the AC on, it goes off. Any ideas? It's been too cold to keep the AC on.

What could be happening is that you have a leak in your compressor and your car is detecting that low pressure, but when you turn it on (for now- the leak may be small) the pressure might be stabilized. That or when you turn it off the refridgerant drips on your hot engine and causes an emmisions censor to go off.
Just going off what my friend is saying.

Makes me wish I would've never sold my 87 Supra. That thing would be so bad ass now. I had some great plans for that car, and my money from Iraq would have done it.
