Hello Comp Team.
This Thursday we will have air training lead by Mags. This is a mandatory training session that will last until 9pm.
We need to learn how to fly mossy's and liberators better to prepare for CC.

I will try to be there as near to on time as I can, following the conclusion of my class at 6:30. Deci, I don't know where you have been; but you and I seriously wreck shit in a Lib. I would really like to become part of the team. Voltron would be a great addition to CC.

I will be able to make it however that is really late for me and I have school the next day that starts a 6 A.M.

Earliest I can start these things is 7:00pm PST. If you have to leave early or can't make it, FNO is a great opportunity to fly with skywatch and learn. That focuses a little less on training, but is a great opportunity for practice.
On wednesday night Snafu usually runs a TTA air squad on the MERC TS server. That is NOT for training (do not bombard them with questions or expect them to hold your hand), but great practice and if you keep your eyes open you'll learn a lot from Snafu who is one of the best mosquito pilots on the server.
If none of those nights work for you, PM me with some nights that do. My time is limited because of family responsibilities, but I'll try to work something out.

I will be willing to teach any one who wants to learn the reverse maneuver just for some additional training, as reverse maneuver is taboo word for mags  . Will be also willing to do 1v1 lib or mossie with anyone who is interested. Note before practice: Don't take this training lightly, i've seen people chatting too much during our weekly air training, causing them to run alone and get wrecked by the skyguard. Maybe it's a training but i hope we can maintain tactical coms only during the heat of the battle. |

I am still currently off the mainland and unable to have a stable Internet connection. However I'll be returning Friday! Then I'll be available for all practices! Just sucky timing for me...

Laistrogan i would love some help perfecting my reverse maneuver. Also some advice on how to strafe the ground effectively would be nice.

With this new update, i really don't recommend using tomcat or coyote, i've tested it in PTS and they got so nerfed I'm pretty sure new pilots in the live server will give up on flying. We will need to fly just using main nose gun + hornet or rocketpods

I'm interested to see how it plays out in the next few days. I'm glad we've got a month to lock these changes down. If CC was next week, I'd be panicked right now. Let's take this discussion to the skywatch thread on the update though and leave this thread for roll call. |
