stopping those zoe maxes, hard to kill as hell I had a good amount of success ruining VS maxes last scrim. The major issue with VS maxes is honestly giving them too much respect. Zoe maxes are good at engaging targets at long range, and being highly mobile. VS maxes are glass cannons, separate a VS max from their engineer and put them on an island. Head to head in close range a TR max can sponge the damage of a zoe max, and pack the sweet KO punch of 300 rounds of Mutilator extended mag. Beast mode like Marshawn Lynch!

Building off G1's idea, I'd like to see 3 5-man teams built out like he suggested that are anchored to each point and then 3 3-man teams built off light assaults, infiltrators, and heavies that roam.
I feel like when we put up a static defense on a point, we cede too much of the open territory to the enemy. I had a lot of success last week holding down a point and letting swatz, pencil, and G1 roam as able. This slows enemy movement, forces them to move in larger groups, and prevents them from having long setup times prior to attacking a point.

Perhaps an idea would be to scrim against a heavy air assault assuming your team has no more resources. This way we can see what works and what doesn't. While Air is the best counter, bad circumstances happen. By practicing, we may yet come up with a strategy to defend against a massive air attack.

The map we're on will play a large role in that, too. Nexus' mountains and canyons made sky guards worthless. The libs stayed out of burster range and lock-on missiles were useless thanks to terrain as well. They weren't focusing the infantry too much, it was mostly them blowing up our sundies that did us in on the ground.
I confident we know how to deal with massive air attack; the only question is whether the map and match rules will make is possible for us to use those tools.
