Fellow TXR members, A very,very close friend of mine was injured almost three years ago due to the negligence of Johns Hopkins University. They don't even recognized that the event ever took place and will not take responsibility for the disability my friend now has and probably will have for the rest of his life. My friend cannot start any legal action against them after October 6th due to his statute of Limitations. Please fellow members of TXR, I beg you to watch and share this video if you haven't already and if you have any friends who are lawyers or who know lawyers that could/would take his case please message me. If you have any questions please ask them, and I will answer them to the best of my ability.
Here is the video
Thank You For Your Time.

Trying not be an asshole (it is a struggle);
This video has made its rounds on the media sites; reddit/youtube/facebook. This video has received an abundance of media/social activism attention.
Why?
How are you involved in this unfortunate accident? If this person was hit with college property, on campus; what is the legal hang up? If this situation is as black and white as it is painted, how come no lawyer in the Baltimore area has decided to try it? This is a very specific and rare brain injury this person diagnoses themselves with. Are there not specific and detailed medical records of this person receiving this injury on college property? If there is ample evidence, what gives?

I have known this man for pretty much my entire life, we are like brothers. Lawyers in Baltimore will not take the case because of several reasons. The first is there is a really,really(and forgive me my language)bat-shit crazy law that says that if a judge finds that injured party could be faulted for a small part of the incident(even 1%) the case could be thrown, even if the group that started the incident due to their negligence was ninety-nine percent at fault. Most of those firms also think that he waited to long, which is mostly because Hopkins for the past several years fed him a lie about launching an internal investigation... that they never did. The condition that he has is the first of its kind, most people who have suffered this type of trauma have migraines that turn off and on, his is constant. The meds that he has to take are anti-seizure meds and at least one of them(without insurance)costs over a thousand dollars for a months supply.
Now I am really sorry if I sound angry towards you forty, I am not at all. I am just mad at those snakes at Hopkins and the fact that it looks like there going to win.
This is pretty much all the information I can give you, if you need anymore information you will have to get in touch with him, if you message me I will give you his email.

Dunno what lawyers in Baltimore he's talked to. I'd be extremely shocked to learn that a lawyer who charges by the hour wouldn't take even a case they didn't think they could win IF there was a case there to take.
My dad is a lawyer in Baltimore, I can give you his number, but it could just be that there isn't a case here. Sometimes awful shit happens and no one besides the victim has any cause to pay. Just because the incident occurred on Hopkins property does not necessarily mean there is any liability or responsibility on the part of the university. I don't know enough about the law, and even less about the case, to tell you anything else.

After speaking with John, because of the way that Maryland law is written in regards to personal injury cases. His case is null and void. Thank you all for the help you have given.
