Let me start this out by saying I do not need a new gaming computer let alone a new laptop. I repeat... THIS IS NOT FOR ME.
now, I have a friend who needs a new computer and due to his current life he needs to game on the go per say. Issue is, he gave me a budget of $900 to $1500.... and I told him I would get him the most bang for the buck.
Sadly all the customizable laptops I have encountered have either slow CPUs or their GPUs are too weak... help anyone?
(If I could get a desktop for him I will, but that's a work in progress and I understand his reasoning.)

Currently using a G75VX which is last years model now, current would be G75V. The VX has a 670Mx which is more than enough to more things. Asus gaming machines tend to be built like a rock, it can't hurt to have separate exhaust for the gpu/cpu. Cost me 1300 on sale which is substantially better than everything else I found on the market within a similar price range. Only thing that came close was an MSI laptop, but after looking at one in person and finding the keys to be loose and cheap feeling decided it wasn't for me.
