Random question I know... When I bought my new computer I lost my Microsoft word CD and do not feel like paying the $300 dollars towards the program.
Does anyone know the best way to get Microsoft word for free or has an extra key they can give me so I can get this back on my computer?

This. Its why I never feel bad when I pirate the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games I bought CoP during the steam sale and it's fucking tense but every time I kill something it feels like I deserved it, you know? Getting a random ass headshot on a merc and taking his gun that looks 10x more badass than mine is really fun. |

I don't understand how this became about CoP. But okay. I like it.
And open office is shit if you ever need to do academics. Try doing some proper citations in open office and then tell me how you feel. I tried for a semester, and the whole thing is just clunky and awkward for any real writing. Even the folks on the open office forums acknowledge it isn't great for academics, and tend to tell people to use something else.
I'd agree with Colt on this one. If you are doing school, you need something that does your bibliographies easily, and word is stupid easy. Also, depending on how recent your Office is (2013 only far as I know) it is tied to a MS account, so it shouldn't need the key after the initial activation ever again. Could retrieve it that way.

Someone in operations put Word on my work computer. I make sure that any documents that I send to operations are ASCII text files with hard breaks at eighty characters.
