1. Why do you want to lead? What motivates you?
Teamwork, Tactics and overall Fun. - Yet again, Teamwork.... I'm persistent and aggressive, organized and extremely motivated to lead squads or platoons.
2. Why should we trust you with our Squads/Platoons?
Upon, proper observation and guidance from previous higher ranking officers and tactics, in combination with holding down the TXR's name in different hours of
operation against different odds against the VS.
3. How do you handle stress and heated situations?
I can maintain consistent command without wavering from the objective, regardless of my spontaneous humor and random comments. I'm serious about tactical gaming, but relaxed enough to deal with idiots.
4. Are you able to diffuse situations before they escalate into bigger problems?
With resolution, and time, any situation can be resolved.
5. How is your experience with dealing with inter-outfit conflicts?
Separation, Consultation, and Time.
OR, swift quick termination from the outfit.
6. How would you rate your strategic knowledge of Planet Side 2?
I'm a evolving individual, I not only observe tactics but apply what I learn from leaders with more experience.
I'm not afraid to take advice from other leads or make my own split second decisions based on the combat situation.
7. How would you describe your leadership ability out of 10
7.5 - Planetside is a evolving game. - I must earn the trust of the outfit through training and experience opportunities.
8. What are your biggest contributions you can bring as a leader to TXR?
Immediate responsiveness to PL commands, and most of all PERSISTENCE. My greatest trait in life and in video games.
9. How do you feel TXR can benefit from you being in a leadership position?
In the real world, I'm a marketing expert. - Motion Graphic Designer and 3d Generalist. As a leader I can not only provide propaganda but the image to back it up. (Talron's 3d title intro and the various TXR logos) Along with persistent plugging of the outfit for recruitment, followed by responsive and respectful leadership.
Not to mention I'm logged on when you're all asleep, so I can represent TXR when our numbers are low in the late nights. My goal is to have TXR on a constant presence 24 hours, with recruitment in different time zones. Leaders and Soldiers logged in different regions.
10. Have you ever been a Guild(Clan, Outfit, Corporation, etc. pending on your gaming history) Leader, Officer, or a Event Organizer?
Yes, I ran a Clan on Quake 1 called LOC - Lords of Chaos. Where my graphic design skills formed and I also where I learned website design and development. Which I managed for the clan. - In planetside 1 I ran with a Outfit called 7th Corp which was the NCs most effective tower dropping teams. Both in the air and capturing key objectives for overall dominance of the base offensives.
11. TXR Troopers have been taunting a fellow TXR for being a Brony, This Trooper has had enough and chosen to retaliate by team killing, not only fellow TXR but allied TR, even going as far as selling us out to the enemy. How do you deal with this situation? Why do you choose this path?
Pull him into private chat in the Teamspeak server and try to resolve the situation with consulting. Followed up with a firm talk with the outfit leaders about how to address the problem with the outfit and the people starting or escalating the situation. From there, if things aren't resolved in a timely manner, discussions of terminating the outfit member from the outfit well come into effect.
12. Every Field Commander has there preference in battle strategy - Offensive, Defensive, Guerrilla play styles, or Infantry, Armor, Air force favorites. What’s your command style and why?
I'm a aggressive but patient Guerrilla combat player. Preferably Air, but considering that Anti-Air is very predominant on P2, and TXR has a weak link in Air units or Pilots, I've been playing more the combat ready shock trooper/ spec ops / Infantry.
I'd like to see a coordinated effort for a small squad of both specialized air aces and aggressive ground units and build a A-team of a Spec Ops unit. Able to fend off enemy squads. A combo of Air and Ground Spec ops.
13. Communications have broken down in your Platoon, the order to “Clear Comms” has been ignored and casual conversation is persisting, The battle your Platoon is in is very intense, your force is on the verge of defeat. What action do you take to convince people to get tactical and fight rather then talk?
Be patient with the team even if it allows for defeat. Remember it's just a game, but be persistent that the Clear Comms command has been issued. Continue to persistently address the command and make it clear that we are serious about our efforts and demand focus.
If the team continues to be distracted by conversation; kick them from the platoon and form another squad or platoon with serous more focused individuals. Change teamspeak channels and continue the fight.
15. Do you understand the responsibilities that come with TXR leadership?
YES, and if I don't i'll be more then happy to read the guidelines and protocols for leadership and apply them on the battlefield.
