I'd drop the $20 for the extra fan.

I'd drop the $20 for the extra fan. Ya, I'd also go for the extra fan, more cooling is always nice.

Personally, I would pay the extra $100 and get the 760. I don't know how the 750 compares to the 650 (obviously the 750 is better), but when I had the 650ti, I hated it and upgraded to the 660ti 3 months later. It's worth a thought just to stay away from the absolute midrange card. I might be good for the next year, but you'll start to notice its a midrange card quick. 760 would put you in that inbetween mid and high end. www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130933

That is true! However, that's when you have to say no! Whatever your base point is, it's ok to push a little higher but there is a stopping point. I still kick myself in the arse for not upgrading a week before I did to the 660ti. Newegg had a 670 on sale for the same price as the 660ti the week before I made my decision. DOH!!!

Never had an issue with either of my cards and their drivers. Only problems I've ever encountered is PS2 being crap for programming. Also, I'm still running on old drivers that i know work. I don't upgrade the drivers until I start having issues because they're too old. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Or rather, don't upgrade it.
Edit: I'm still running the drivers from Nov. 18, 2013.

Edit: I'm still running the drivers from Nov. 18, 2013. the new drivers for Nvidia created this black screen problem for games with forgelight engine. The sad thing is that the new driver has brought some performance boost to the performance of the cards, especially for SLI scaling

Worst case, they'll have a fix for the driver in a few weeks. Especially since it's affecting so many people.

For under $200, I hope it's hookers or blow, not and, else the story will end up as penicillin and baking soda. What? Valtrex ate your upgrade budget?
I am still using the November nvidia drivers on my 680 and planetside hasn't crashed for several weeks. It is an older card...

Ok guys i just got some monies finally so im getting very close to making the purchase. Im now looking at the 760 or 770. should i roll with 4g or 2g. Im thinking of getting a second monitor soon so i was thinking the 4g. When i did the price per core for the 760 and 770. The 760 was .268 cents a core compared to .256 for the 770 (both 4g) so its more "bang for your buck" to get the 770.
