Commander
2) Do you meet the outlined criteria for your Promotion (copy and paste the specific requirements)?
-Served in the Outfit for at least 5 Months - Check (has it really been 11 months since the reddit thread?)
-Help Maintain the Outfit and Forums - Check
-Must have Unlocked 100% in Squad Leader Certs - Check (though I regret unlocking command chat...)
-Represents TXR effectively in Global Command Chat - Check
-Must Actively Recruit for the Outfit - I'm not incredibly active in seeking new members
-Must Actively work at diplomacy with other outfits - Check
-Organizes Special Events for the outfit - Check
-Helps solve intra-outfit and inter-outfit conflicts - Check
-Has an assigned "Job" that helps with outfit maintenance (example: Recruitment Moderator) - Skywatch commander and Inter-outfit Liason.
-Works well with peers - I have no peer!
-Demonstrates an advanced knowledge of game mechanics and strategy - I like to think so.
-Able to quickly implement orders and delegate effectively - Check.

3) Why do you want a Promotion?
I'd like to continue taking on more responsibility for the outfit.
4) How active are you in recruiting new members for the outfit?
With my new job as inter-outfit liaison, I'm going to be establishing relationships with the wider community and looking to recruit players whose own outfits are becoming inactive. To this point my efforts have been to find pilots for Skywatch, but I can't claim any great successes here - most of our new pilots join incidentally or are recruited by other members and not because of anything I've done to recruit.
5) Since you have entered Leadership what have you done to make TXR a better outfit?
I helped to get Skywatch organized after ATR had to focus his attention elsewhere. I'm proud of the job I have done there. I am bothered by the drop in active, dedicated, pilots and working to solve that problem. I've taken an active role in many of the other outfit activities both in Planetside 2 and in the larger outfit setting.
6) What rank would you love to see yourself in eventually?
I'm committed to making TxR great; I'll happily wear whatever rank is deemed appropriate at the time.
7) What ideas do you have to make Total Recoil better?
I'm currently trying to encourage new pilots to start training with the New Pilot Initiative. I'm taking an active role in the competition team and will be working to develop solid relationships with the competitive community and other PS2 outfits. I'm also active in the new War Thunder section with Dienekes00 and carrying the TxR name and tradition to yet another game.
As a final note:
I have been on the fence about requesting this promotion. There are areas where I feel I don't meet some of the expectations others might have. My attendance of FNO and even Wednesday night ops are limited due to personal commitments, and I feel like this has contributed to the issue with Skywatch attendance. Unlike my request for Lt. Commander, I don't feel like commander is strictly necessary as far as permissions or authority goes within the outfit. I think it may strengthen my ability to form relationships with the leadership of other outfits, but aside from that, not much else changes. I guess what I'm saying is, if the leadership doesn't think the promotion is appropriate at this time, I won't be hurt about it. I'm committed to TxR whether that means I move up or stay put.
