TxR Squadron is active thanks to a generous gold eagles donation by Dienekes00.
For all active TxR members:
You can join by going to your Menu -> Squadrons and then searching for Total Recoil. In the bottom right-hand corner of the pane is an application button. Apply and an officer will approve you the next time they are on.
For newcomers looking to join TxR:
Please head up to the recruitment thread and fill out an application. It's a really easy process and the only real barrier to entry into the group. Take the time to fill it out and make sure you indicate that you are looking to play war thunder so an officer can keep an eye out.
All nations are accepted, our members fly actively in just about every nation's air force.
Be sure to set your acrobatic smoke (in game options menu) to "Wings: Blue." Press 'L' after you spawn to turn on your acrobatics smoke (unlimited duration). We use this to stand out from the rest of the team and to shame our enemies by announcing our presence loudly.
As always, wearing the TxR tag makes you a representative of Total Recoil. We already have a reputation in War Thunder for being organized and awesome. We want to continue this. The outfit Code of Coduct applies. If you have not made yourself familiar with this code, please do so.
The only addendum I would add to this for War Thunder is about hacking. TxR is routinely accused of hacking (see above about being awesome). We are able to laugh at these accusations and wear them as a badge of honor precisely because we play it straight. If it is ever found out that you are hacking or using exploits in any way, you will be immediately and permanently removed from the War Thunder squadron and almost certainly from TxR. Cheaters bring dishonor not only to themselves but to everyone associated with them.
