Post what you consider to be the best Album of the 2000s. If you can't pick just one, go ahead and post the lot.

Maybe it's because I'm young enough to have "grown-up" in the Naughts, but this was probably one of the most influential albums of my youth. While a lot of it is a rehashing of songs that made RHCP great, it's also a good example of how they keep the old stuff fresh, while allowing the new music to flourish. It's not The Best Album of the 2000's by any means, but it's my favorite, which is what the nature of this thread implies as its' goal.
Necro-posting for the win!!

Roadrunner United. A compilation of past and present artists from the Roadrunner Records label, to which more of my favorite bands are signed than any other label.
Each song is basically a different "supergroup" of musicians from the label. No album I've ever heard more completely describes a genre at a specific moment in time than Roadrunner United for metal in 2005.
So many of these bands were in their prime. Trivium was fresh off the heels of Ascendancy. Killswitch Engage had just recently hired Howard Jones and were stronger than ever. Machine Head had abandoned their bullshit sound from the early 2000s and were at this time working on The Blackening, which would go on to become the best metal album of 2007. Plus, major heavyweights like King Diamond and Cliff Burton were brought in for the recording.
All in all, a strong contender for my top album of the 2000s. Keep these coming, especially with YouTube links, as these threads are often my fodder for PencilJams.
