The best concert I've been to was probably Smokeout Fest of '09 it was the first major concert that Sublime was in with the new singer and it had Slipknot Headlining. Honestly after about 2 hours, the amount of Weed there was made the event kinda hazy and a bit more interesting. Its probably my favorite not because of the music, but mainly because my gf at the time gave me head during Slipknot's performance. |

Mayhem Fest 2009. July heat in northern Virginia. Halfway through the day, they ran out of bottled water. All there was to drink was Rockstar Energy Drink and booze. Slayer and Killswitch Engage on the main stage, and a littany of awesome on the small stages, including Trivium (back when they were good), Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, and more. Easily the most brutal day of my life.

 Rammstein, hands fucking down. The level of theatrics is insane. Til Lindeman rode a cement mixer painted like a dick and sprayed foam from it all over the audience while performing Pussy. Oh, and did the above during "Engel". Angel wings that shoot fire. Not only did they nail their songs, their set was roughly 3 hours, only them, and completely over the top. |

So sad they were banned from the US for a while. I was actually going to go to the Anaheim show last year but sadly I couldn't.
