Yesterday I fired the new Tomcat for the first time. It tracked fine until it flew into and destroyed a friendly Mosquito. I've fired a few thousand Tomcats and don't think one has ever decided to kill a friendly. So that's new...
Apart from that, not much difference. I used to switch to the nose gut and keep the target in my sights after firing a missile. Now I just keep the target in my sights. Whatever. I'll still get Auraxium with it sooner or later. I doubt it's the end of the hate tells from Tomcat kills.

I'll still get Auraxium with it sooner or later. I doubt it's the end of the hate tells from Tomcat kills. Most assuredly not, but now we can laugh even harder when they come. I've lost maybe 5 or 6 missiles so far to reflexively shifting to my nose cannon after firing one. I also lost a few locks when I fired at someone flying towards me. The missile launched past them and then lost lock on the turn around. I'm glad the general consensus is still that they suck...very few people are using them. With the new changes to fire suppression, very few people are running flares. I was having a heck of a good time Friday with the tomcats.
