1. Explain how do you meet the following requirements:
-Must be in the Outfit for at least two months
Been here since Beta.
-Must be at least Specialist Rank
Yup.
-Takes initiative to Squad/Platoon Lead when available
I do most of the time when I'm not going to be busy soon. People tend to just give it to me and it's really no big deal.
-Must Start Certing into Squad Beacon
Got that.
-Works well with peers
When it comes down to it, I most certainly can buckle down and nut up.
-Demonstrates a working knowledge of game mechanics and strategy
No matter how I complain, I understand the workings of the game.
-Must be willing to learn and take constructive criticism
I'm willing.
2. Why do you want to lead? What motivates you?
I want to be involved and looked up to. I want to have a new dynamic to the game for me.
3. Why should we trust you with our Squads/Platoons?
I can think on my feet and I can listen to orders. Either way, I'm flexible.
4. How do you handle stress and heated situations?
Admittedly, I can handle it poorly, but logic wins out in the end for me.
5. Are you able to diffuse situations before they escalate into bigger problems?
I think I can. Course, it's all situation-to-situation.
6. How is your experience with dealing with inter-outfit conflicts?
Limited.
7. How would you rate your strategic knowledge of Planet Side 2?
7/10
8. How would you describe your leadership ability out of 10
8/10
9. What are your biggest contributions you can bring as a leader to TXR?
A more realistic point of view about a situation. Moving on rather than fucking a dead horse.
10. How do you feel TXR can benefit from you being in a leadership position?
Someone different in a leadership position. Someone they know differently than others so they can learn to respect leadership more than certain personalities.
11. Have you ever been a Guild(Clan, Outfit, Corporation, etc. pending on your gaming history) Leader, Officer, or a Event Organizer?
Yup.
12. TXR Troopers have been taunting a fellow TXR for being a Brony, This Trooper has had enough and chosen to retaliate by team killing, not only fellow TXR but allied TR, even going as far as selling us out to the enemy. How do you deal with this situation? Why do you choose this path?
Call out the trooper for his irrational act; no matter how much the taunting, you don't take it out on them like that. I'd tell him to talk to an officer and the officer can handle it one way or another. Certainly, the taunters would have consequences as well as the tauntee.
13. Every Field Commander has there preference in battle strategy - Offensive, Defensive, Guerrilla play styles, or Infantry, Armor, Air force favorites. What’s your command style and why?
Offensive-Guerrilla. I like making that decisive strike that turns the tide in the big picture.
14. Communications have broken down in your Platoon, the order to “Clear Comms” has been ignored and casual conversation is persisting, The battle your Platoon is in is very intense, your force is on the verge of defeat. What action do you take to convince people to get tactical and fight rather then talk?
Mute the platoon in-game chat. As TXR, we can handle ourselves for the most part on TS, so the issue there would be simply kicking the person from the platoon/outfit or moving them from the channel. Afterwards, try to motivate them to fight smarter.
16. Do you understand the responsibilities that come with TXR leadership?
I like to think I do, but I haven't quite gleamed into the officer-core.
Thanks for taking the time to read my application and I hope I can contribute beyond my stereotype.
