1) Which rank are you requesting? NCO
2) Do you meet the outlined criteria for your Promotion (copy and paste the specific requirements)?
-Must be in the Outfit for at least two months - Been here since Beta
-Must be at least Specialist Rank - Champion
-Takes initiative to Squad/Platoon Lead when available - I lead from time to time, especially when everyone else chickens out.
-Must Start Certing into Squad Beacon - 1 level from Max
-Works well with peers - I hope people like me
-Demonstrates a working knowledge of game mechanics and strategy - I know how to decide which line to follow. And I know exactly which rock to tell ppl to place a Sundy.
-Must be willing to learn and take constructive criticism - How can you learn if you never listen? I always listen and take to heart any good criticism.
-Must apply for Leadership - Done
3) Why do you want a Promotion? I think it is about time I went for leadership. I do quite a bit of it anyways.
4) What’s your current In-Game Battle Rank? 54
5) Looking at your certifications page, what Infantry Class/Vehicle do you have the most percentage unlocked with? My Mossie taxi!
6) Tell me a Joke! Hmmm. Why did Talron cross the road? To get away from dementing effects of Totalzone's stories.
2. Why do you want to lead? What motivates you? I like to put a point on a map and see ppl go towards it. That and really because I want to lead people to a fun battle.
3. Why should we trust you with our Squads/Platoons? Because we get things done!
4. How do you handle stress and heated situations? I am pretty calm under stress. But if its bad enough, I would bring the trouble makers into a separate channel and talk it out.
5. Are you able to diffuse situations before they escalate into bigger problems? I have done it before many times in real life so I think I can. If people need a timeout, I will put them in the timeout corner.
6. How is your experience with dealing with inter-outfit conflicts? I am actually impressed that we have had so few conflicts. So I cant say I really have any experience with it. I would say the most annoying thing is when you are platoon leading and people who disagree with your decisions need to repeat themselves over and over again why you are wrong. I usually try to explain myself out so they understand what I am going for.
7. How would you rate your strategic knowledge of Planet Side 2? I have been around for quite a while yet I am still always learning. I would say it is pretty high because I am very watchful. I am always looking and judging how the leader lead and deciding for myself how it could be done better.
8. How would you describe your leadership ability out of 10 - Squad -> 8. It isn't that difficult really. Platoon -> 6. Quite a few things I need to learn.
9. What are your biggest contributions you can bring as a leader to TXR? Galaxy crash on a fight the NC and VS are having. Always fun to crash a party.
10. How do you feel TXR can benefit from you being in a leadership position? I always volunteer anyhow thus allowing us to have fun together regardless of who is on.
11. Have you ever been a Guild(Clan, Outfit, Corporation, etc. pending on your gaming history) Leader, Officer, or a Event Organizer? I was a leader of my own Minecraft server. We had around 50 people on it. Does it count that I tell people what to do everyday at work?
12. TXR Troopers have been taunting a fellow TXR for being a Brony, This Trooper has had enough and chosen to retaliate by team killing, not only fellow TXR but allied TR, even going as far as selling us out to the enemy. How do you deal with this situation? Why do you choose this path? He team killed. If he was getting upset over the taunting and I would absolutely talk to the fellow TXR about the taunting. But he team killed and thus I would have a talk with him that this is not how us as an outfit wish to be represented. If he cannot understand the message, I would talk with other leaders about having him removed.
13. Every Field Commander has there preference in battle strategy - Offensive, Defensive, Guerrilla play styles, or Infantry, Armor, Air force favorites. What’s your command style and why? Defensive. I love Sundee hunting But if they made Air more fun I would lead that first. Air is always fun.
14. Communications have broken down in your Platoon, the order to “Clear Comms” has been ignored and casual conversation is persisting, The battle your Platoon is in is very intense, your force is on the verge of defeat. What action do you take to convince people to get tactical and fight rather then talk? I move them to another channel until they get it or I kick them out of the platoon.
16. Do you understand the responsibilities that come with TXR leadership?
I do.
