OPERATION: SCARLET RESCUE! --------------------------- Date: 6/7/2013
Time: 5:30pm [PST]
Continent: To Be Revealed by NOVA the Day of.Officers of the Terran Republic have been lost behind enemy lines during a recently botched Air-Drop Operation, Republic High-Command believes they have been captured and are being held as Prisoners of War by New Conglomerate radicals. Intelligence has identified the rebel terror cell known as Nova Tactical [NOVA]. Command has ordered the Total Recoil [TXR] Battlegroup to conduct rescue operations to retrieve the lost Terran PoW' before the Rebels can pry any sensitive information out of them. TXR has 1 Hour to Locate the PoW', Kill all hostiles, rescue the PoW' and get them back to the TR Warpgate safely. If TXR fails to rescue the PoW' within the allotted time, NOVA will execute all 5 PoW' and win the event. Scenario: Prisoners of War.1). 5 PoW Medics are Air-Dropped behind enemy lines and are captured by the NOVA Outfit, They must follow NOVA instructions if they want to live. 2). PoW' can't use any weapons at all, no guns, no knifes. 3). The PoW' are forbidden from any communication with all allied TR forces with the exception of proximity chat. 4). PoW' Primary Objective is to survive and make it back to the TR Warpgate. 5). If PoW' are legitimately executed and not just lost to pub player interference, they can't return to TR forces for the duration of the event, they must try to interfere with the event as VS Characters. Choosing to either support TR rescue efforts, or hinder them. Scenario: Total Recoil [TXR]1). TXR must kill all hostiles and rescue all 5 PoW' (5 Points total, Minus 1 for each PoW' lost). 2). TR only needs 1 PoW Alive, Rescued and brought back to the TR Warpgate to win. Scenario: Nova Tactical [NOVA]1). NOVA must hide and keep the PoW' away from TR forces. 2). NOVA reserves the right to wound or execute PoW' pending on the level of trouble each individual PoW gives them. 3). NOVA wins if the TR fail to rescue the PoW' within the allotted time, or all 5 PoW' are legitimately executed. (5 Points if all PoW' survive captivity and never return to TR hands, Minus 1 point for each PoW executed before the intended time) TXR and NOVA designated Ops Commanders may bargain or negotiate for information concerning PoW location, Attacker/Defender Force Location and more. Operation Scarlet Rescue is not limited just to PoW scenarios. Other events that can be expected through out the night are: *Demolition Derby Harasser ( NC vs TR) *Harasser Race ( NC vs TR) *Fight-Club styled Knife Fight ( NC vs TR) *Mass Galaxy Wrestling ( NC vs TR) * Mosquito vs Reaver Mass-Dog FightThere will be many more events that will be proposed through out the night. |

This has promise!
Some suggestions.. Since we obviously cannot guarantee that outside influences aren't going to be a problem for the POW's, suggested those 5 are in their very own platoon, and squad bacons are hidden nearby to allow for a respawn opportunity. Noted that the 5 are medics, allowing for the ability to rez the fallen.. but I work in IT and redundancy is always in my planning stages. Create a separate channel in TS for the 5 and invite a NOVA rep in to ensure no helpy's are given ( probably unnecessary, just thought they would appreciate the effort. Also gives us a chance to meet our competition in a new forum! )
Also not sure how planned this already is, but if you need volunteers for the 5, Count me in.

Sounds amazing, but the title says friday 6th july, but the 6th of july is a Saturday, so is it friday or saturday? Wanna try an keep work off that day!

We may have not won the challenge, but having to deal with Swatz and Pencil's... jarble or whatever you want to call it on TOP of Totalzone's long ass STD stories.. man. That is enough for me. One of the most epic FNO'S between two rival outfits [TXR and NOVA Tactical on Connery]. A series of fun events including Light assault + pistols only contest, Harasser Derby, Air Deathmatch, Knife's only contest and MAX KNIFE'S only contest. Truly an epic night full of laughs and good times! Special Thanks to Beagal of Nova and Hereticus and Swatz of TXR organizing the event!
