1. Why do you want to lead? What motivates you?
Leading comes naturally to me. I do leading in real life and it basically spills over when I play games. I enjoy teaching tactics and learning from other leader or my mistakes. My motivation is always self improvement and Winning! All the time
2. Why should we trust you with our Squads/Platoons?
They have not revoked my Galaxy flight license yet. Plus, I've lead a few times and haven't been warp gated yet!
3. How do you handle stress and heated situations?
I stay calm and use my head. Try to figure out the best solution to our specific situations and make judgment calls that will benefit the group as a whole and not individuals. I stay stern, transparent, and respectful.
4. Are you able to diffuse situations before they escalate into bigger problems?
Of course that's always the best solution.
5. How is your experience with dealing with inter-outfit conflicts?
Inter-outfit conflicts are rare since the guys in our outfit listens to orders. If it is something small that can be resolved with diplomacy then I try that first. If the conflict is more serious, then I would check with leadership, or have the Commissaire execute them.
6. How would you rate your strategic knowledge of Planet Side 2?
7.12 out of 10, lots of room to learn.
7. How would you describe your leadership ability out of 10
8.34 out 10, room to improve leading
8. What are your biggest contributions you can bring as a leader to TXR?
Being a solid leadership role model. Active, mature, intelligent, respectful, fun having, knows how to follow, and give orders.
9. How do you feel TXR can benefit from you being in a leadership position?
An additional leader that plays later/late night. A good role model for TxR, taking on different roles, from squad leading, platoon leading, to just following orders. Always willing and ready step up and take command. My playtime is usually late night which helps give TxR more exposure to other players that TxR normally would not be introduced to TxR. I also recruit and helping new players get comfy with tactics that we use in outfit.
10. Have you ever been a Guild(Clan, Outfit, Corporation, etc. pending on your gaming history) Leader, Officer, or a Event Organizer?
WoW ( I know it was a while ago) - Raid leader (20man and 40man raids) for 2 years
Swat- Major 3rd highest rank, Platoon/Squad Lead
11. TXR Troopers have been taunting a fellow TXR for being a Brony, This Trooper has had enough and chosen to retaliate by team killing, not only fellow TXR but allied TR, even going as far as selling us out to the enemy. How do you deal with this situation? Why do you choose this path?
Deplomecy first and often this works, to see what the problem is, maybe it was a misunderstanding or they just need an applogy. Resolving it before it gets bigger. If that is unsuccessful, I would have my team hold their fire until I hear back from leadership. If its just one or two guys, I would have them reported and refer to leadership for orders to kill in the future.
12. Every Field Commander has there preference in battle strategy - Offensive, Defensive, Guerrilla play styles, or Infantry, Armor, Air force favorites. What’s your command style and why?
I like whatever works. For non alerts I like offensives where our numbers are equal or better than the enemy. For Alerts, guerilla defensive, zerg offensive. I don't have a favorit, just whatever wins
13. Communications have broken down in your Platoon, the order to “Clear Comms” has been ignored and casual conversation is persisting, The battle your Platoon is in is very intense, your force is on the verge of defeat. What action do you take to convince people to get tactical and fight rather then talk?
I would take control politely by clearing comms until I can be heard, get the platoons attention, give my orders and make sure we "please do it now". Have, my squad leads back me up and carry out my orders. I know everyone has their own style, and I treat everyone with respect and maturity. If its pugs that are not listening they get kicked, and if its outfit, then I would use diplomacy
15. Do you understand the responsibilities that come with TXR leadership?
Everytime I log on
